Distinctively decorated, each room at the Moses Nickerson House offers our guests a private and serene getaway all year round. Fine linens adorn each of our beds, handmade quilts in the summer, fluffy warm comforters in the winter.

Six rooms have a queen bed and our Classic Room has a king bed. All rooms offer a private in-room bath, TV, A/C in season, phone and hair dryer. And every room has enough pillows to ensure your stay is comfortable.

A full gourmet breakfast is served in the glass enclosed dining area which sparkles with morning sun. The breakfast room opens onto gracefully landscaped gardens with a water fountain and pond with year round, resident gold fish. Gardens are found on all sides of the property and provide beautiful arrays of color from spring to fall. Our rose gardens flourish on the west side and are visible from the parking lot as you enter.
**There is a friendly Golden Retirever on the premises who hangs out in the owners' quarters and an outside kennel.
**The Moses Nickerson House is a non-smoking inn.

Room 1

The Regal Room
A four poster antique bed hand-painted with flowers is the centerpiece of our Regal Room. The antique hand-painted armoire, the blue velvet settee, working fireplace and lush oriental carpet complete the imperial feel to this room. Located on the first floor, The Regal Room's French doors provide its occupants direct access to our front porch.

 

Room 2

The Simple Victorian
Soft roses gently dot the sea foam walls and bring you back to bygone days. Four windows welcome the light and the soothing Cape Cod air. An elegant, second floor corner room with an antique, high four poster pine bed, matching antique armoire and fireplace.

 

Room 3

The Old Fashioned
A cozy corner room on the second floor furnished in a traditional Cape Cod decor with seaside accents. Three windows make this room very light and airy. Let the echo of the foghorn at Chatham Light lull you asleep in the queen sized white wicker bed.

 

Room 4

The Country
Decorated with antiques, this spacious, second floor room has a high antique, canopy bed. The pale sea blue walls highlight the decor trimmed in forest green. A rocking chair and a comfortable love seat invite you to enjoy a good book.

 

Room 5

The Romantic
Climb the steep, narrow Cape Cod stairway to this unique hideaway graced with a Sheraton canopy bed. Antiques furnish this room done in rose with accents of blue and green. The large bay window provides a panoramic view of the picturesque gardens and water fountain. Windows on both sides of the room provide wonderful ocean breezes in season.

 

Room 6

The Cape Cottage
A private entrance at the rear of the Inn takes you to this quiet retreat on the second floor. Bright nautical themes warmly welcome you to a room furnished in green wicker and antiques. Three windows provide refreshing light and let in the salted ocean air.

Room 7

The Classic
A large room decorated in darker prints and khaki accents gives this room it's gallant feel. Authentic knotty pine walls are complemented by an antique love seat and Oriental carpet. The handsome king size bed opposite the fireplace welcomes the whaling captain home.
